Meetings are conveniently located around campus and last about an hour. We meet, eat, talk and pray together in a casual setting. Current Schedule: 5pm Sundays @Brody Square Sparty's in the seating area under the atrium. 11am Mondays @Snyder Gallery Sparty's in the seating area in front of the registers. 1pm Wednesdays @the Internation Center Food Court at tables in the dining area. Look for a Canterbury MSU sign in these areas and bring your friends! Come early to talk with Chaplain Sarah. No need to bring  Bible or prayer book but you can if you want to!

Graduation May 2009 Canterbury hosted Archbishop Desmond Tutu for tea and conversation with our students and local Episcopalians. What a joy to have this gracious living saint in our presence!

Each congregation in the Episcopal Church has a group of leaders who work with their priest to ensure that the needs of the congregation are being met and the work of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being done in their community. This group is called the Vestry and Canterbury MSU has a Vestry made up of current students who lead through their dedicated service. Each year the Vestry plans events, promotes Canterbury on campus and offers hospitality to new and returning students.  The Episcopal Ministry at MSU is a ministry FOR STUDENTS BY STUDENTS! Working together with the Chaplain and the EMMSU Board, students serve as ACOLYTES, LAYREADERS, and SACRISTANS for our services. Students coordinate our PUBLICITY CREW, the MUSIC TEAM, serve as PEER MINISTERS, and much, much more!

We are a welcoming and open Christian community of students, faculty, and staff from Michigan State University, who gather to worship, to discuss current issues from a Christian perspective, to serve the community through outreach, and to talk about the broader Christian Church and how we help shape it. We wrestle with the call of the Gospel and what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ in a secular world
